2001 James Dean Festival Dance Contest

The Bopper
Everyone loved the music this year. The slow music was slow, the fast music stayed fast. The Bopper was at his best!

Six winners
The winners! On the left, Brian Massey and Kim Dempsey from Sterling Heights, Michigan. Middle, they gave their names only as Clara and Skeens. On the right, newlyweds from a town near here, and I lost their names. Send me names! They have been in the contest a couple of other times too.

Everyone danced in between contests, so here are all the pictures I could get in the dark. Contestants are mixed in with the people who just love to dance. I hope this encourages you to enter the contest next year. Enter any contest you can find. It's just plain fun!
