Let's Hear It For Ned Petzel

All of us in Bluffton know Ned Petzel as the cheeriest man around. Ned lives near our downtown, so he gets around a lot. This picture is one I took of him greeting Governor Evan Bayh when we had a special event called "Capital for a Day" in our city. Among other things, Governor Bayh jogged with the Bluffton track team. We had a town-hall meeting and met many of Governor Bayh's staff.

Ned mows yards around town and assists the Street Fair Band. The reason for this page is to say that Ned always has time for a cheerful conversation with anyone. That's so rare in this bustling world. We could use more Neds.

Ned has five great-nieces. The newest niece, Lydia, has a web page too. She has a disease, biliary atresia, and needs a liver transplant. She's not yet even a year old. Visit Lydia Murray on the World Wide Web.
