More Great Dean Fans
REILLEY GOODPASTER Cutest kid at the fest, Heidi Goodpaster's niece Reilley won second place at the Steak and Shake cruise-in and First Place at the Mall contest for 50s clothes. Way to go, Reilley. What a heartbreaker she's going to be!
In the gift shop at the Gallery before the James Dean Night Walking Tour of Fairmount, Lenny Prussack of Rebel, Rebel and Don Knutson of Michigan gaze in awe at all the empty spaces where the fans bought out the store. Never fear, more great gifts are already on the shelves.
Last year there was a lavender stroller with real headlights. This year a blue love-bug. This was too cute for words, so look at the pic and stop reading!
Bill Lane and Michael Kosik came all the way from California. It was Bill's eighth James Dean festival but the first time for Michael. They stayed the course and even did the Night Walking Tour. Both these men are actors in Hollywood. If you have little kids, you may recognize one of them from a TV show. Best of luck to Bill and to Michael on the West Coast, and remember, wear sunblock.
Definitely fifties and loving it, these two friends enjoyed the festival and the dance contest. Sorry, I don't know their names or cities.
Now here is the essence of a sunny Friday at the Festival: dress up for the dance contest and have a great time with your friends and meet new fans. Thanks for adding to the whole atmosphere, kids.
This is so romantic! They met here, at the festival in '95 and have been in love ever since. Only one problem: he lives in Vancouver and she lives in Ohio, or was it North Carolina? The phone company must be overjoyed, unless they have email. This year also saw a serious romance bloom.
All those who believe that Dean people have compatible values, say aye. The ayes have it.
Lotsa lotta gotta see-em pictures here:
There is now a constantly updated index of some of Our Dean pages. Now when we make a typo in an URL, we have a fighting chance of correcting it once and for all. Yeah, and Otto and I believe in the tooth fairy.
