See The Dean's on April 7 at Columbia Street West, where Richard (the sound engineer) will be celebrating his birthday in his quiet, understated way. Who else is on the bill that night? The Red Ball Jets!! This evening will rock AND roll! Catch The Deans on April 18 at The Small Planet in Lansing. (This is a new location from the previous notice.) They are on the bill with Nineteen Wheels which just signed with Columbia Records. This is an important night. Hope you can be there!

Wade Lijewski does a great job of making us all feel welcome, and he answers his email! Wade is an accomplished guitar player. He puts feeling into his songs. A confirmed rumor: yes, an eligible bachelor.
With hands like these, you would think he'd be an NBA allstar, but Eric Hardy brought his talent to us on a drumset. Ladies, this hunk is eligible too! So many of you ask!! I told him he may be the best drummer in the business, but he disavowed the title.
Recently married, May Moalleman sings and strums. He is an invaluable third of this trio. Skilled, entertaining, hardworking.... May is The Man.

The Boss must love the Deans. I think he wrote a song about them. Although they don't have a wife and kids in Baltimore, Jack, they went out for a drive and they never came back. Like a river that don't know where it's flowin', they took a wrong turn and they just kept goin'. Just because they had a hungry heart, and everybody needs a place to rest.... When The Deans played, Otto got to meet Norman Zebrowski, who is also the editor of ETCH magazine, the music scene magazine from Lansing, Michigan. The great Del Villarreal writes for Etch; heed Del's words. Etch is well worth the money, but since it's free you have no excuse to miss an issue. It's packed, it's recyclable and the reviewers are light years better than I am. But if you write for a copy, send a couple of stamps.
