The Blue Moon Boys
Mindy and Travis came up from Bloomington, and we also spotted Sue Ann Hartman in the mix. Lots of Blue Moon Boys fans came out that night.
Nic's boyhood best friend Tom Tobey does an aerial with his dancing partner, while Brad in the forground shows some of the moves that made him a winner in the Fairmount James Dean festival dance contest a year ago.
On Sunday, the weather had let up just a little. The crowd poured in early for Sunny Taylor and the Blue Moon Boys. The rib vendors were extremely happy about that!
Nic's mom, Altalee Stellhorn, greets Fran Brewer and Fran's daughter. We lost Keith Brewer this year. He was the former bassist for the Blue Moon Boys. It was very special having Fran come to the show. We'll never forget Keith.
Musclemen on parade. Everyone was whooping it up.
Alyssa and Jon showed the world how it's done.
This is the level of dejection we all felt when the show was over. Everyone who had been there for three days was exhausted; the band itself had been on tour for two weeks in the hot sun, playing outdoors most of the time. It's so rare to hear our Boys in Fort Wayne; we must treasure the memories. Well played, well sung and top quality, guys!
