Kim Lenz and Her Jaguars
Nick Curran traveled on Ronnie Dawon's tour last year with Chris Day and Lisa Pankratz. When I heard Lisa was not with Ronnie's band this year, I wondered about Nick. Here he was, with another of the most beautiful women in music. I noticed Kim's band wore gray. I asked Nick about that. He said the band members chose not to stand out, to focus the attention on Kim. Kim did shine like an emerald on stage.
It was eerie how this bass player looked like Pistol Pete from a distance. Wonder if they are related?
This is on Kim's guitar. I can't read the writing. Does any fan know what it says?
I don't know if Jody Kunkle can use this for the Gabardine Gazette but she is welcome to. Kim had a tight schedule so the band couldn't come to our late-night parties. That's why I don't have more photos of Kim Lenz and Her Jaguars.
What Otto does is concentrate on the photos and let you send in your comments about the bands.
You are all welcome to send reviews by email to Sandra Weinhardt, firstname.lastname@example.org or U.S. postal mail to 125 South Marion, Suite 101, Bluffton IN 46714.
