Words from Our Kids!
Welcome. Our Tentative Times wants to be an outlet for our kids. They can write, be published and catch flack for it just like the rest of us. No submissions from them yet, though. Lady Tigers Advanced To State!!!
If you want more coverage of a certain sport, write it out and send it here. We'll code it in for you, with a bare minimum of typos and factual errors, which you can correct us on. That keeps your proofreading skills sharpened. We want scores and feature articles and factual reports. Try your hand. Sports!
Either here or in the opinions section, we need partisan reporters for Purdue, Ball State, IU and Notre Dame sports. If any of the other readers are interested in sending us sports news and opinions, there is room here for them. Be sure to add a note about how to contribute money to the school you write about.
Dave Berg maximally influenced your editor throughout her entire adult lifetime. Dave Berg, you know, the guy who creates the section in Mad Magazine that skewers the foibles of (mainly) adults. I raised my child as if Dave lived in our house. There is always a Dave window in my mind, looking for absurdities in everyday life. It makes for a lot of laughter. I hope the students who contribute to Our Tentative Times can view life though Dave Berg's glasses.
